Our accessibility commitment
Case Hospital and its clinics want their digital services to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disabilities. We are working toward the principles and success criteria in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
What we are working on
Our accessibility work includes:
- Keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus.
- Readable colour contrast and scalable text.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Clear headings, landmarks, labels and form instructions.
- Responsive layouts that work across mobile, tablet and desktop.
- Accessible error messages and form states.
- Reduced reliance on colour alone to communicate meaning.
- Compatibility testing with common browsers and assistive technologies.
Known limitations and third-party content
Some third-party content, including embedded video, maps or social-media content, may not provide the same level of accessibility as content controlled directly by Case Hospital and its clinics. External-media embeds are also subject to your privacy preferences.
Need information in another format?
If you cannot access information or complete a task on the website, contact Case Hospital and its clinics on 0800 211 005 or email hospital@casemedservices.org. Where reasonably possible, the team will help provide the information or assistance through another format or channel.
Tell us about an accessibility problem
When reporting an accessibility issue, please include the page you were using, what problem you encountered and, if relevant, the browser, device or assistive technology you were using. This information helps the team reproduce and correct the issue.
You can also use the Complaints & Feedback process.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Case Hospital and its clinics review the site after major design, CMS, booking, payment or patient-portal changes and retest core journeys such as finding a doctor, finding a location, requesting an appointment, reading health content and changing privacy settings.
